Franck Muller Company History:

Franck Muller has enjoyed tremendous success in the ten years since its creation. At age 23, Muller entered the famous Geneva School of Watchmaking, and during his 4 years there, he received the highest distinctions and prizes. In 1983, he created his first wristwatches, all created entirely by him with complicated movements. Since then, every year Muller unveils a World Premiere, for example: a Tourbillon, a Tourbillon with jumping hours, a Tourbillon with Minute Repeater, and even an inverted Tourbillon with Minute Repeater and Perpetual Calendar. He established his company, Franck Muller Geneve, in 1992. This same year one of his models with a Grande and Petite Sonnerie received the title "Most Complicated Wristwatch in the World." Muller decided to build a one of a kind site that would be devoted to watches. He named it Watchland, and it officially opened in 2001. Watchland unites all steps of watch production together on a beautiful private park in a building much like a castle. The company produces about 50,000 watches a year. Franck Muller is known for his unique and creative watches. The curved tounneau cases and bold Arabic numerals of the Curvex models speak of Mr. Muller's love for art deco and art nouveau style. The Crazy Hours model is an example of some of his remarkable complications, which have earned him the title of "The Master of Complications."
