Franc Vila created the first tourbillion with the column wheel mono-pushbutton chronograph movement in high-end watchmaking history. All the models share the same form, which he calls Esprit Unique, and is in the shape of an inverted 8, which leaves space for complications, a tourbillion, additional functions, or specific counters. Many people consider preowned Franc Vila watches, used Franc Vila watches & second hand Franc Vila watches all the same, but a Gray & Sons Franc Vila watch is something different altogether.
